This photo project started off with a simple idea: There are a bunch of buildings out there that used to be Taco Bells. You know the ones. Brick structure, 3 arched windows out front, parapet with a mission bell up top. Now they're Chinese food joints, Subways, taco places, whatever. I wanted to photograph them as they are today.
Previously: Taco Bell. Now: Something else.
But then I got bored shooting the same building over and over, so I expanded this project to include previously Tastee Freez, Denny's, Pizza Hut, IHOP, etc. I'll photograph the ones that strike my fancy with a variety of medium and large formats. I hope to make it into a book someday, but no promises yet.
